I just noticed that in the control panel it shows the stats such as number of new member in teh last day, last week, etc., but I am seeing "1" for all these stats:

New in past 24 hours: 1
New in past 7 days: 1
New in past month: 1

I have have many more that this. Any idea what the problem is?

UPDATE. Ok, this is weird! I tried several times earlier and all I could get for stats was as posted above where everythign was set to "1". So I went away and came back a couple hours later and now the stats are there:

New in past 24 hours: 7
New in past 7 days: 31
New in past month: 121

I'd love to know what I was just getting's "1" for everythign there for awhile (ever with I'd refres the screen it did not change.

See if it's the same with both IE and Firefox. I had an issue with IE7 not showing any numbers at all but it was fine with Firefox.

This info is stored in a cookie when you first visit the admin area for that session, and it just retrieves the info from the cookie on each visit until you close your browser. The reason for this is so it doesn't have to recalculate the data each time the main control panel page is loaded during the session. It sounds like the initial calculation got a bit messed up.

Ahh! I always wondered about those stats. The new users in the last 24 hours stat has often been incorrect for me. Now I know why. It's not a true rolling 24 hr accumulation (unless I misunderstood Rick). It's only the number of new users in the last 24 hrs leading up to your first visit in that browser session. Did I get that right?

Stress the system until it breaks. Hey.. it works for Spacecraft.. why not here?
