I'm curious if the time setting on the 2 different servers are different. If there is a large difference in the time between the 2 servers then it could be related as it goes off the timestamp in the database. You might want to check what the current time is set to on each server and see if there is a large discrepancy.

Hi I am the admin for the site and the board. I can update to the situation. I upgraded server from classic to threads. It was working fine for a couple of days. My database was on a seperate server. I was having traffic issues with that server and was moved to another server that had a local database. I exported the old database and imported into the new server. I also tar'd up the files ftp'd and un-tar'd for the code. Now back to the time thing. The server is on GMT and have used the offset to -6 to show a cst time on the server. I have double check permissions, group and forum permissions. The board is wide open except for 1 forum for Mod's and Admins only. And guest can only read not post or reply. Let me know if I can check anywhere else.

Update: The issue has been resolved. Allen cleared the board cache and set the time out to 30 days. Users can edit their posts now.
