I upgraded the forum from UBB Classic to UBB.threads last year. The new forum resides in a separate directory:
 Code:
domain/forums

Question:
Are there any shared files between UBB Classic and UBB.threads in the CGI-Bin?

I am looking to delete the directories for the old board:
 Code:
domain/ubb
and
 Code:
domain/cgi-bin/ubbcgi

Is it safe to do so without affecting the UBB.threads board? I know that the two boards are completely different software (perl flat files vs. database) and reside in different directories... I just want to make sure that there isn't a renegade script, license or other file that is shared between the two before I delete the old board.

If you don't have any redirect scripts in place that redirects from your old classic board to your new threads board then yes, you're safe to delete everything. Everything UBB.threads needs resides within the installation directory itself.

By redirect scripts, I mean if you have any old classic files that have been modified to redirect to your new threads forums when someone tries to visit an old link.
