I have some spam coming in form China / Beijing with IPs starting 221.221.

I want to search the Member Management area for Registration IP using a wild card but it returns no entries, even with IPs that I know exist.

I have tried 221.* and 221* but it doesn't work.

Any tips?

I don't believe the search will currently allow for wildcards in the IP field, I believe it's just an exact match. That's problem something we can get changed in an upcoming version.

I've bypassed the problem slighlty by searching the MySQL database directly with the % wild card.
