What determines the content of the Portal Page? I thought it was the most recent posts, but someone at my site created a new post and it doesn't appear on the Portal Page. I couldn't find any information in the documentation, but maybe I didn't look long or hard enough.

In the portal settings you can set a "News Forum" (or "News Forums"), ANY posts made to these forums show on the portal page.
