Is it possible to have CSS style, and even Javascript, drop-down menu navigation functioning in a custom Portal island?

I ask because this kind of functionality requires <script> and <style> elements defined in the <head> of the html.

On a related note, it would be nice to be able to Preview a custom island for development/debugging purposes in the editing form.

You should be able to put it directly into the portal box.

Agree a preview might be an idea \:\)

I woudln't go adding content that doesn't belong in the CI into a CI... it doesn't follow proper standards ;\)

Got it working, thanks for the replies.

I put everything into the CI, even if it doesn't follow standards, because:

a) it requires it's own CSS and .js,
a) the functionality is only required for this CI, and I'd like to easily switch it off in one place,
b) it's a temporary solution

Demo can be seen in the "Site Menu" CI on my site.
