The point i'm putting over is this. If its an upgrade from Classic to V7 Threads, its a feature that wasnt available in the past. So when or if a member gets in touch about it your horrified to find the issue bigger than you thought and there are more with the same issue. Why not Disable it as default, in the User Manual have a section called Preventing Spam, then you can cover the http refferer and captcha too in the same area. Mines been off since day one ish due to the problem as alot of my users log in from work places behind firewalls. And ive had NO SPAM. Two actually: Quote: So, you're finished your install? Now, check the following things: 1.
