I am not knowledgeable on these things.

How can I:
1. Make a new post island from all forum on my Homepage (html only) which is not php enabled? I tried to make a post island using the external instructions and they didn't work.
2. How can I place the 'who's on online' and 'new members' above the footer instead of on the side?

I'm not sure you really can, short of using SSI, but that woudln't just be html only, it'd be shtm/shtml.

Theres a post around here where Rick posted exactly how he uses external islands on his site to accomplish just this.
