It looks like the languages/english/genaric.php file doesn't exist in your ubb install; ensure that you've uploaded all of the UBB7 files to the server and that their permissions are set properly

644 or 666 (dependent on if you want to use the language editor in the cp). Ummm, the only thing I can think of is that it's either corrupted/unreadable or it's just missing, otherwise the error shouldn't say its missing..

Hmm the only other thing that I can think of is that the path to the ubb install ins't correct, could you check to make sure that it is actually supposed to be: /home3/mates/matesupover-www/forums
You'd update this in the includes/config.inc.php file should it be wrong.
You're sort of right, Gizmo. We don't know where "home3" is coming from. It should just be "home", and it is "home" in the config.inc.php file too. Even in the control panel it said "home".

Lol very odd then, as the importer is reading home3... When you're running the importer, at the first step, can you check the paths to make sure they all show home? (im assuming your'e running the UBB.C importer here, I've never tested the UBB.T one)
Well, we ended up going radical, and doing a clean reinstall. It's working now. Gizmo, as usual, thanks for your attention. You've been a marvelous help with our changeover to 7.1. The importer is running right now, so keep your fingers crossed for us.
