I am trying to add Skype to my signature but am having problem with the script.

It works well in the Custom box but not in the signature. Can anyone help me?

Well then, I can tell you why it won't work in signatures; html doesn't seem to be enabled for use in signatures (at least thats how it sounds).

A UBBCode varient would be:


Though it won't work for several reasons:
1. URL isn't formed properly, so you'd have to hack at the URL ubbcode.
2. The image code doens't have a valid image identifier (.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, etc)

So, a test:
[url=skype:outdoorking?call][img]http://mystatus.skype.com/bigclassic/outdoorking[/img][/url]

I tried the script and yes it won't work.

Do you know if they are working on the signature side so you can use HTML script in the future?

I doubt most administrators want users posting items in html; all it takes is one nimrod to ruin a site (such as posting a javascript which would make every image load as a photo of a dancing bananna for example).

I think that html signatures can be entered via the cp, but I'm unsure as to how things parse out (as I've never toyed with html in signatures); I don't even know if theres an option to allow html emails in the current build (as again I've not played with it)

You're more than welcome; one thing that I always try to do is let people know about the security aspects of features they want ;).
