Yes, the page number really was never necessary and not always accurate since the page it was on depended on how many posts a user was showing per page. Everything will continue to work, just now it'll be better

Concerning this, what about search engine links? If Google has already stored this link (and 1000s of others), won't the new linking structure break those links?

And to clarify this:

It will also name the forum the topic is in, too, right?

I'm looking forward to 7.2, despite any real need for an image gallery (personally)...

I'm relatively sure every old url will still work; hell look at the work he put in for the redirectors on imported forums...
