I'm not sure if it's a bug or I did a wrong upgrade, so before post on the bugs section, let me try here.

When I move from a computer to another, using the same username, and click Active Topics-->24 hours, On the second computer I'm receiving all topics I already read on the first computer, as a unread topics. (that small icon that shows the topic is not read shows up again.)

Also, on the older version you could click on 'Last 24 hours' and it will list post by post every entry on the last 24 hours. This new version only shows the topic (not the post). Is there any way to change it to show post instead of topics?
Thank you

To answer the question you must first give a question.

I've doing that, but each time I go to a new computer, with my username, I receive the indication that I have 'unread' messages, which is not true.
So, looks like the 'read/unread' flag is on the computer, and not on the user (if I say right...)
If I open one computer, read all new messages then go to a second computer and log on with the same username, all messages are there again, as unread.

I believe your last visited time is stored in a cookie on your machine when you login

If that is right, do you know if version 6.x had it on the database?
Because before I guess I had that display right.

Unfortunately I never utilized threads prior to 7, so you'll have to wait for someone with the technical knowledge of that product to stumble by...

The active topics works a bit different in the way it has to track, since you're only reading one particular topic in a forum instead of browsing all the posts in a forum. Because of this, it can't write to the db and has to store on the local machine in this case.

Hopefully at some point I'll be able to figure out something different for tracking.
