When a user registers, (I have disabled Registration Queue), they are not receiving an email so they can verify their email address. Yet, the user info is popping up in on the front page of the control panel telling me I have users to approve.

I thought the purpose in disabling the Registration Queue was so that I wouldn't get emails of who registered and I wouldn't have to approve them before they could post.

I'm pretty sure that as long as I have this queue disabled, any user should be able to register and immediately post.

Make sure you've actually enabled email verification in the control panel. Registration Queue and Email Verification are two different things. So you can keep the Registration Queue disabled and enable Email Verification.

Under registration settings, the registration queue selection box is NOT checked.

Under registration settings, enable email verifications, the selection box IS checked.

It still doesn't work.

I just registered on your forums. I did receive the notice that I would need to verify my email before my account is active, but so far I haven't received the email. I'll keep checking for a bit, but you might need to contact your host and find out if there are any special conditions for sending out email via php.
