reworded:
How do i change the background color of topics that have been stickied, so that it doesn't match the other posts.

If that's not possible, is it possible to add a seperator X posts down?

Or any way to clearly differentiate between stickies and regular posts?

Currently no. We'll be working on adding some way to make these stand out a bit more.

How about if we use a custom island between them? Even a horizontal bar would help the eye strain of having to figure out where the end of global announcements and stickys are and where the start of the posts begin for a forum.

Isn't there anything we could try until you come up with something? Thanks.

You could always change the icon to something more suitable.

One of those emotion things with a sign saying sticky \:\)

just replace the sticky image with a new one ;\)

Hi Marky! Sounds like a great idea. Only thing, once I read your suggestion I remembered that all of the announcement posts I want visible on the Portal Page already show a special announcement icon (a yellow stop-sign with exclamation mark inside of it).

So I guess I'm okay. I thought a "sticky post" icon just meant that that particular post should always be positioned at the top of all other posts. I'll just remove the "sticky." for now.

Thanks for the lightbulb!
