It's just that I was thinking maybe there is a slow take-up on threads as people may be concerned about the 'change' (maybe some can't change yet as they don't have MySQL?).

I was planning on waiting until threads was 'a few versions in' or a little more mature before making the transition from classic; in the end I was driven to it by hosting issues.

I am so happy I did!

Anyhow, as more people change over - there will be more people joining the new community. After all, most people running classic have nice stable boards, most of the time...

Well, just my thoughts on why things are a little slow at the mo' -- feel free to shoot them down - we'll have more posts then

If it isnt broke then why fix it

Also its a big jump from file base classic to sql threads.

And from classic to threads there are a lot more bells and whistles.

I would *hate* that side of Ricks job!

I mean, normally, it must be very rewarding for Rick as we are all reasonably constructive in our feedback. Also threads gets so much qudos for it's quality.

But if it were me, I'd be tearing my hair out at each bug report - trying to make the product perfect.

It's a never ending loop. New version - more stuff, more bugs to iron out.

My hat's off to you Rick - man amongst men!
