in 6.x you could turn this on, but in 7.x it appears to be part of the portal, which im not currently taking advantage off. is there a way to turn on who's online and registered user quantity in 7.x without using the portal?

*quick note...if you look in that thread it shows how to put the "who's online" back to where it was before...if you need any help with that PM me...took me a few but i figured it out...be glad to help you out if you need it.

I have a "how to" at UBBDev (here) which tells you how to pur the sidebar islands within your forum on the "category index" page, wouldn't be too much more difficult to just select another template and drop the same code in there as well.
