Hi,

This is more a question to the ubb developers: when you are changing the language files and adding new wordlets, could you please be so kind to add a commentline after every release version stating the version number? In that way it is very easy to add only the new wordlets to older versions of the language files that can be downloaded here.

I was trying to update the 7.00 dutch version to 7.2, but because I had no clue what was changed or added in these new files I actually started the whole translation job over. This takes a lot of time, and I don't want to do this again, when a new version comes out. Just this commentline with the last version number, tells me what to add to the older files to make them up-to-date again.

In the install directory, you'll find the files NEW_LANGUAGE_CHANGES.txt and LANGUAGE_CHANGES.txt

These include the version of each change, as well if the phrase was added, removed, or just udpated

BeyondCompare is good for a freebie but I think this one is a bit more powerful / friendly if needed.

hmmmm... could swear the older version of it was free. Been a while since I've used it though.

Since both of you guys have used it for a long time maybe try the ExamDiff Pro and after using for a little while (not just click open - yuck I don't like this, actually test it and give your thoughts) I think I'll download BC and try it since I've not tried it in a LONG time now.

If it integrates into the windows shell, I'll have no problem testing it; if it requires me to laod it and select files manually, i highly doubt i'll use it ;\)

LOL - Not a big deal, was just curious. I'm of a different school. To some degree I despise applications that do integrate with explorer (depends on how useful and how well done the integration is)

Sort of like WinZip. It has excellent integration (but overkill if it's current v11 defaults are left on, at least now it lets you disable many of the integration features if wanted, which I do disable some)

Well, I do a lot of development work, so I have like 30 ubb directories (differant clients require differant mods, plus my licensed sites) so right clicking and just choosing "set to left" and "compare to :other directory:" are perfect for my needs...
