PHP 4.3+

UBB.threads should work on any Linux/Unix distribution; I myself have it running on CentOS5 and CentOS4.4.

As long as you meet the minimum requirements of MySQL and PHP (which in CentOS5 should be 5+) it should work without a hitch.
