does this pack work on previous versions like 6.x ? (please dont tell me to update , i've just finished my forum and don't wanna mess with it, but i do want a dutch language pack, because i am dutch myself (duh) and for my visitors.

i haven't build a public web site yet, i'm just testing locally before i put it in the public eye.

The strings would have to be updated; You will run into compatability issues, as some language strings won't be the same... But a lot will be, at least within 7.x. You cannot use files to/from 7.x to 6.x
