Paint Shop Pro 5.0 is no comparison for the latest Adobe Photoshoop. But it does everything I want, so it's good enough for me.

UC might be the better choice overall, but does it have advantages over BC for the ubb stuff (language files, upgrading with hacks).

Me too, no regrets so far, it's been an enormous help so far.

I do that more, just buy something to force myselve to start working with a program \:\)

I used to use a horrible ftp program (some way old cuteftp), tried several, but never really tried them. It was just trying it with one site, and basicly used the old one for everything. I just bought a random ftp program that had good reviews to force myselve to get all my ftp sites in. Still use flashfxp till today \:\)
