Name: VNC.Winter
By: Gizmo (James at VNC Web Design & Development)
Demo: As 7.3 was having an issue with the preview URL, I've attached "VNCWinterDemo.jpg" below.
Description: This is a simple "Winter" theme, blues and whites (snow anyone?).
Changes:
I've taken and updated the VNC.Winter theme for compatibility in UBB.threads 7.2+ and 7.3a.

The largest change you'll notice are that I've added the hovering in that most of my other themes use (if you don't like them, remove them from the "Extra CSS" section); this includes the pagination section (only in 7.3+).

Thanks Gizmo - the demo is not showing the theme - I had to login to see the theme with snow flakes etc.

It works if logged in, but not if you are logged out

That is very odd... becuase it just grabs the stylesheet, and it has the paths set to the images in the sheet... weird

When I clicked on the original link, I actually changed the number to 6,7,9,5 etc., and viewed the same blue stylesheet (which I assume is your default)

That is because you are not logged in (as per my earlier reply)

The stylesheet preview is obviously not working for those not logged in.

(I am assuming you are basing your comments on this the preview link)

is it a fault with the link or a bug in 7.3a?

Problems in 7.2x

Several images are not displaying...

Flashing PM indicator (showing the alt)
New and no new posts indicators on index
Down arrows
etc...

Hmm... maybe it is because I do not have these images in default-dark - should that be standard - not sure.

You can see it at http://www.fansfocus.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=previewskin&skin=6

Although I have not enabled it yet, as the top looks a bit off when the breadcrumbs scrolls to a second line.

Looks good on your forum Ian. Is the log-in fields near the breadcrumbs a hack? I think that should be a standard option.

mine wasn't for review.. it was just an example of a working, non-logged in theme showing up as stylepreview ;\)

Yes - I modified the header to have a login there - makes much more sense to me. I tried to match it with the clock on the other side \:\)

However as you can tell, I am NOT a style expert LOL

as for ian's issue with the images; this theme only includes images it uses for the design, the others it just uses default...

Due to the issue with the previewurl with non-logged in users on 7.3, I've attached vncwinterdemo.jpg to my initial posting.
