Just completed a move from Linux to Windows (don't ask why).

Now most of my earlier customizations are missing. Is there a place that these are stored so that I can go back and get a copy?

Examples:
-- Portal Layout with 1st and 3rd column Islands turned on
-- Wording in Title Bars
-- Example.com showing up in places

It sounds like you might need to go through the config options again and make sure everything is set properly. All of these things are stored in the config file.

Yep, that's what it was. I used the INSTALL.PHP tool and then aborted it when it asked about creating new forums... (already had that happen two years ago and it cost me 30 hours of effort).

So it DID overwrite my confi.inc.php file and left out ALL of the cutomized settings.

I just went though it line-by-line comparing it to my previous one, and VOLA!!! Everthing is now back in place...

Thanks for the tip... after spending 14 hours on the move yesterday, I was too rummy to figure out where these settings were kept...
