Under the who's online.
Is a great opertunity to use them as links to show
those who are those positions in a list.

Like the users list.
But if i click Admin then i know who they are.

"If there off line" and not showing in the box wink

also i think it should have registered in that key list

Key: Admin, Global Mod, Mod, Member, Spider

personally as clever as it is i say loose the spiders being
listed as names.

Personally I like to see totals

Gizmo, Rick, Ian,
Mark S, ntdoc
XX Registered
XX Anonymous
XX Spiders
XX Total

I have mine in the footer - so for me, I am not at all worried - it can list whatever it likes smile

Marky, some people are going to want to see which bots are raiding their forums massivly (like Yahoo, stealing your bandwidth 70+ bots at a time); but I do agree that some things I'd just want to see hwo many bots are trolling about.

So if there was 20 diffrent types of bots.
Are we saying that they should show in the WOL box and still only list say 5 members.

IMO Registered and Unregistered catches our eyes.
Total the Bots and total everything.

Then we get to see how "The Most One Line" can actually
be achieve, and we can see the numbers in the same place.

Click WOL for all the Detailed stuff and take your time to
read it. Members recognise members not Bots.

I thought the WOL was written for members not admin??

I would like to see this located in the footer as default - it also allows for you to have 100+ users displayed.

In classic when i had the online list at the bottom
it was a great way so getting members to scroll down
and at the least seeing that there were more forums.

I still try to do similar as in a Good forum low down.

I dont know if i miss it at the bottom now whos online.
But member and such like to see which fellow members
are online. It human nature lol

It would be nice to have either ot as i do like the new WOL
if they could only get it right lol

Well, you can use the "external use" to embed it anywhere on your forum that you please.
