2 Screens / 2 Monitors

I know some of you have 3 million monitors plugged in,
but little old me has the one lcd.

My Questions is it handy to have 2?

I have a 19" Square one at the moment.
But fancy a 22" i call them wide screen.

Will this be awkward different size monitors??
I have 2 Outputs and down the line i can add another Card
and link them. (Cross Fire) I think its called.

Anyways any advice about 2 monitors pros and cons thanks.

Well, it works nicely if you do more than one thing... But for some people, they just don't have the space...

I myself use AltDesk (by the same people who brought me Aston, my alternative windows shell (down with explorer!))... It makes it so I can have numerous items spread over numerous desktops...

So, for example, I have 4 desktops configured right now; I have:
1. FFox
2. Thunderbird
3. IRC Chat
4. Pidgin chat sessions

I hit ctrl and the left/right keys to scroll through them, or just click in the desktop area to switch. Everything notifies me of new activity so I can just click over when something is new.

I got myself a Samsung SM2232BW / 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor and its the best one I have had in years, no complaints and a good price as well in my eyes.

And back to your question; I would say its very handy to have two, have used two at work for years and its at well good home, especially if you work on webpages, coding or similar.

Envious of anyone with a large screen now - I have to make do with a 15" laptop screen LOL
