I've been holding off on purchasing a UBB license to find out if I could get it to work on Yahoo's servers. Is it possible?

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm not sure what services they offer on their hosting plans, but if you have access to PHP 4.3+ and MySQL 4 or 5, then you can certainly run UBB.threads on their servers.

This says php 4.3.11 and MySQL 4.1. Next question is whether or not the file system allows writable files, which some config files need to be.

It's at times like this when a demo version or some kind of test script package would be helpful.

Absolutely. I'm not paying $199 for software that I'm 100% sure it will work, however much I want it!

you may want to contact the sales department (sales@groupee.com) in this case...

This page has a testscript at the bottom where you can check if your hosting environment will allow you to run UBB.threads.
