Yeh i seen a documentary about it, the USA dont like them yet,
there more or less like the tesco express shops we have.

so there being watched closely which there not keen on.

I'm still waiting for a super walmart closer to my house; nearest one is in Vancouver, WA (30 mins away); the one they put by my house was supposed to be one, but they couldn't acquire enough land, and they where going to put one in Selwood but the city voted to not approve their new building there... Which is insane because there is NOTHING in selwood...

I just spent two days at the Portland Swap Meet. With that in my backyard, I'd never even THINK about a Wal Mart!! Ha!

... and "No", I didn't buy a car, but I came dang close!!! Couldn't decide between a 1956 Chev convertible and a 1961 Corvette convertible.

Tesco opened a few local shops in California last year

In 5 years we can see there plan maturing for domination.
But i guess wallmart will have a very close eye on them.

Well not being familiar with Tesco, are they only a FOOD store?
Walmart does both Retail and Food, so it would seem that on the FOOD only I think they're saying that Tesco is larger
but on overall Company wealth/size and ranking Walmart is much larger.
