As long as you lower the ttl in the soa for the dns in advance no downtime should occur.

This should be done at least 24 hours out.

I am just about to start moving several hundred domains away from enom to directi, which are offering much better prices for me.

It's not the settings that I'm afraid of - it's all the time documenting and actually requesting and moving all of them.

I don't do this for a living - our Company just has a lot due to being in the computer industry as a MFG.

I handle their Internal network mainly and was just wanting to clean up some of the site registrations until I found out how many they had

Not sure what Enom offers that Directi doesn't.

I can get $6.99 from directi - as opposed to $8.49 with Enom - big difference on almost 1,000 domains

I get like $7.95 at enom still; and they actually have a very reliable dns system which a lot of programs tie into nicely...

Haaa imagine a world with out domains lol

Filled up with Diesel from Shell at 56p per litre today - and purchased cigs at 1.60 per 20

(For anyone in the US - UK prices are £1.15 per litre and £5.60 per 20!!)
