ok, this is a link to a myspace video, using the editor and iserting the code.. it doesn't parse.. it just looks like what you see here.

[video:myspace]http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=34077267[/video]

It's because of the inconsitancy with MySpace over what URL they want to throw out for videos... Basically, the UBB, by default, only parses from "vids.myspace.com", so "myspacetv" and "myspace" are left in the cold...

BTW, the fix would be to add another custom tag, for myspacetv, but don't have it show in the dropdown (As there is already one which uses "myspace") clicky

Wouldn't the real fix be a better regex that can handle those different url's?

Have fun crafting a regex wink... Not difficult; but it's easier to just drop in a new one; so long as you set it to not display in the dropdown, your users won't notice a change, other than the parser working.

I never said creating those regexes are fun, but there are tools out there (regexbuddy (L)) that make the job a lot easier.

And you can feel more than free to recreate any entries I do; I do this for free and don't always have the time to go in and make a one stop fix for every situation imaginable...
