Hi all, I am new here. I am a moderator for a fairly large board and right now we have 2 gallery's. One is a normal gallery available to view by anyone and the other is a forum designated "members only"..The problem is we want to make this forum available to members only with a certain number of posts.

Meaning they have to have say 50 posts in order to view the gallery. My admin is unaware of any configurations to do this so I told her I would find out how to do it.

I have seen other forums do this and would really like to pass the info on to my admin..

Oh, we are running version 7.2.1 ...I would really appreciate any words of wisdon here...

You would need to upgrade to 7.3 and then use groups based on post count.

Then when a member hist say 50 posts they become a member of say 'full members' group and can view the said forum.

Where do I find something that explains setting up a group based on post count ?

Okay I found the post count, but i want to change the settings for the "Users" to bring everyone who has more than 50 posts to Full Member so I can limit the Users with less than 50 posts from posting in a specific forum.
