Sounds like you've got a mix of scripts in there. get_mod_perms() is no longer used anywhere in any of the 7.3 scripts.

mystery solved, when you commented on that not in use and then I thought about it, I had to add that as part of a mod from UBBDev that allows moderators to reply and lock a topic at the same time.

this particular persons permissions were just messed up.

all fixed.. not a bug.

You don't need to do that mod anymore in 7.3, it's buildin.
