If I buy the UBB.threads™ Standard License will this remove the Powered by UBB.threads link ant the bottom of the page

You can't, it's part of the license agreement.

I would check with Rick and / or Groupee as I thought they did offer a pricing method to remove it, but I could be thinking of some other software.
