Hi,

If you think that $4 a gallon is expensive, one garage in Devon (SW England) is charging the equivalent of $18 a gallon!

Some say we may be up around $6 per gallon here in the US by end of Summer.

The issue here though is that most other forms of transportation or not really good for most commuters. In many urbanized Cities one has bus and train that take them very close to their job, in So California you can drive for hours at 70MPH and still be within one city or another, never being out in the Countryside. There just is no good means aside from a car to get to our destination for most. For some it works out well but they are the minority of the population that can use bus or train.

That makes my head hurt - it would be ~$300 to fill up my SUV then. I think I'm going to be sick.
