i think a good addition to ubbt would be to add an FTP layer (like joomla uses).

that would allow ubbt to go in and do what needs to be done in a more automatic way

This was fixed via a ticket. When looking at the forums that didn't display, they didn't have any permissions set. I just used the Copy option from one of the similar forums permissions, and all was fixed.
