Hi - I am seeing some anomalies with the Demo, I remember when trying to register users it was asking me : do I accept Board conditions. Later when I tried again, the Board condition is now not showing up any more.

Also when I navigate to the 'Registration Screen' and choose the 'Show & Require' option for 'Receive Administrator Emails'. Then when I try to register, it's still not "Requiring" me to accept 'Receive Administrator Emails' and I can register by choosing no ...... so is this a BUG or is it something else !

So is this a demo that was setup for you on a UBB server?

this is a demo which I am running from : http://demo.ubbcentral.com/username and i was given a number of days to evaluate it, after which it expires. I got hold of it from Try a Demo from Ubbcentral.

I am basically using it to familiarize myself with the control panel..... sleep

P.S: I am in GMT time zone (PST + 8)

ok - it works intermittently, the appearing of 'board rules' that is. So I cleared the cookies and it worked again. So for some reason it is remembering this in the cookie info. - is this normal behavior though... ?

But the second point about the admin emails, not working, or am I mis-understanding the functionality - can someone please explain if there is any thing I am doing wrong or if it is something else ....

The selection for choosing admin emails isn't a requirement that they choose yes, it's just a requirement that they choose one of the options.

Yes, I believe if you register two users in the same session, the board rules will only be given to the first, due to the way we store the acceptance for that session. We might need to change how that works.

smile yes I get it now, but having played with 'Hide' on the Demo. It seems that selecting it disables the ability of Admin to send an email to that User.

Is this how it was designed to be ?
