I am learning my way around a new UBB 7.3.1 install.

Everything works great except the Photo Gallery feature.

I am able to make a new post, upload images using the file manager without error.

After uploading I can see only the filename, but I cannot figure out how to actually view the image.

Is there a setting that I've missed to get images to display rather than just a link to their filenames?

More on my photo gallery problem.

I upload a test image. It does not show a preview of the image.
It does show the image file name after the post is submitted.

If I right click on the file to view image in a new browser window it displays the following path:

/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showimage&id=9&type=m

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix the gallery set-up so the images display properly?

I face the same problem. i upload images to gallery, no error on upload.
I see broken images there. I checked permissions again.
windows, iis6, php 5.2.6, using gd, tried both with regular and spider friendly URLs. same issue.
where the new gllery images are uploaded?
i checked GD too. it works good with other php/gd scripts.
