So, I've setup a small forum that requires a use subsrciption. My issues is when some one clicks the link for the forum it just says access denide rather then asking them if they want to subscribe to it.

Is this possible and if not what are the ways someone is prompted to subscribe to a forum or board?

I edited my language file so it reads:

This forum is available to paid subscribers only.

You must be a paid subscriber AND logged in to view this forum.

If you would like to subscribe, click here for details.

Click here to visit the FREE <name> forum.

If you are already a paid subscriber and forgot your log-in or password, click here.

If you have log-in trouble, click here for log-in tips.

<plus some other custom text that probably would apply in your case>

BTW what is the file name I should be looking at?

just use the language editor and search for that text. it will pull up the matching files where that text is found.

at that point, it should be obvious which one you should edit
