This question pertains to the statistics provided for visits and activity for our site off the server. I need to know, for advertisers, if the visits category is the number of unique users.

From the stats page, Key Terms, I would assume visits does equate to unique visitors. Am I correct?



Key Terms:

Hits: The total number of files requested from the server.
Bytes: The amount of information transferred in filling those requests.
Visits: The (approximate) number of actual individual visitors.
PViews: The number of Web pages viewed by those visitors.

Who's Online and Site Stats Boxes.

Who's Online: no unique visitors are mentioned, only the visitors being online at a certain moment.

Forums stats: no unique visitors to spot either...

How can I know how many unique vistors have been in the forum on a particular day? I don't want to post an island in the boards, I just would like to see the numbers myself.

I would refer you to the server logs for that. I'm not sure what type of server you have or what type of logs it may have for you to see.
