I noticed a new permission to display or not display ad islands, but I cannot see anywhere that you can create these ad islands? Looked at custom but didnt see an option.

How do you create AdIslands?

Ad islands are custom islands.

If you go to

Forums >> Forum Settings

...then click on details for any forum

...then Custom Inserts

...then scroll down to Custom Island Insert where you can select the ad you want.
