not sure if this has been brought up, I did a scan of suggestions but didnt see anything...

how about adding a section to the user's profile wher ethey can type up a couple of paragraphs (or more) about themselves, and add a couple of pictures, etc

I have people adding multiple full size photos and typing their life story in their signature, and would like to provide a different way for them to convey this info without cluttering up the threads with huge signatures that are bigger than the actual posts.

I UBB.Classic you were able to have your photo in your profile but was drooped in Threads.

It appears that in Classic there were many things that are missed greatly but were dropped in Threads that many people appreciated and liked very well.

Perhaps someday, and a few years of updates later, we may have all those wonderful features in Threads that are missed from Classic.

My biggest suggestion for threads 7.x is to get back all the functionality of classic/threads pre 7.x.

I'd be happy if all the current functionality, er, functioned tongue

I've seen lots of permissions bugs, random config settings changes, etc. since upgrading a few sites to 7.3.x - the whole upgrade.php script needs some serious looking at - forum permissions and group permissions were lost, random config settings (like default user group on registration) changed, etc. smile

i 2nd all of what Allen says and further add..

we need a 7.3.2 badly -- smarty could be updated along with phpmailer class as well..

i know of at least 15 bugs that i've fixed for my own copy of 7.3.1

we should stop upgrading people to 7.3.1 and get a stable 7.3.2 release, then go to upgrading people to THAT version and skip thru 7.3.1, imho

if i'm a customer waiting to upgrade, i'm NOT going to 7.3.1 and would be waiting for a 7.3.2 with bugfixes, better upgrade script as well as a document that describes how to USE all these new changes..

additionally, if i'm a customer who paid for a 7.3.1 upgrade, i'd be expecting a 7.3.2 upgrade 'on the house'.. it's only fair.
