I've added some new graemlins to the forum. Most users are fine and can see and use them perfectly however I have a few that are saying they can not see them. (Only a red X)....I log in under their name and sure enough, I get the same thing under their name when viewing from my computer. I get the Red X as well from my browser. Any suggestions?

OK...interesting...They work under certain styles and not others. The Ubbcentral style they don't work, the stock style, they dont work. All the other styles, they work. frown

yes, that is because it depends upon which set of graemlins is in play..

you'll note that there is a default and default_dark (at least) under your graemlins dir..

so you might be just adding to the default dir.. you'll (for now) need to manually copy from default to default_dark and *poof* it shows up..

it's been a 'feature' i've wanted changed for awhile now smile

ie: when you add a graemlin, it bangs it up to all sub-dirs smile

Actually, it was added to default_dark and not to default. When I copied everything over to default then all the styles now have the graemlins in play. Kind of surprised myself that I could fix this one. smile

yah, it really depends upon which is currently YOUR selected style. if you were using one that had default_dark, then bada bing.

the general rule applies though.. and i still think this should be done by the software automatically... or at the very least a dialog hint box would inform you to FTP to the other dir(s) wink

--- hint --- wink
