Where is the code that sets the title of each page?

I'd like to modify it slightly so that every page has a unique name. Possible?

The page title is actually a bit complex, so you'll really need to know what you're doing, especially if you want to have something unique per page. Anyways, in the latest version it's in the libs/html.inc.php script. It's the inputTitle variable, you can search for that and see the code for it.

There is also a bit of code in the template itself, header.tpl.

Thanks Rick, for the answer. I want to see if I can do something about making page titles unique. I have a few hundred thousand posts on my boards, none of which I am willing to delete, and Google complains that too many of my site's pages have "Duplicate Titles", and therefore my site's standing is being penalized.

I want to try to alter each page title slightly, even if it just relects "Page X of X", or time of day, or something to make each page title in a thread unique when a search engine views it so as not to have the appearance of duplicate content, which it certainly isn't.

If you ever plan to address this in a future release, I'll hold off fiddling with it myself, but otherwise I'll try to insert a little "unique-ifier" in there somewhere.
