Hi there,

I have the gallery feature set up on my discussion board. It seems some users can upload photos fine, other cannot. When the upload does not work the text message is still posted, but all links to any photos are broken image links.

I have the php memory allocation set quite generously in my server php.ini so don't think it's that causing a problem.

Could this be a timeout issue or something else? Maybe if a user has a slow internet connection then it would take them a few minutes to upload a photo and hence it times out during the upload? Don't know.

Thanks,
Phil

I'd maybe try and have one of the users send you one of the images they are trying to upload just to verify the size and such. If the rest of the post is going through I don't think it's a timeout issue, as that should just result in nothing being posted at all.

I could possibly be a phishing filter from McAfee or Symantec AV that is preventing it. See if those users involved are using Symantec AV and if so have them go into the advanced settings and at least temporarily disable the Phishing filter and try again.
