That is a cookie issue - it's been reported a few times - someone is kinda half-logged in where they can still post but it's not getting the username. Not sure if it's cleared up in 7.3.2/3 or not.

Can you advise me on how to fix this problem.

I have 2 anonymous postings today and several members that are having difficulty being logged in.

Thank you.

First I'm betting it was a user that uses FireFox and was logged out and forgot to log in to post.

Check the users IP Address against the users IP of registered users. If this is the case the fix is to tell them to use IE as there is a cookie bug in the software for FireFox. And if I remember correctly that bug will be fixed in the next release.

I can only identify one out of the 3 IPs.
I will contact that member.
Thank you for the response.

On there other hand some users with IE have their settings at "Paranoid" and have problems logging in or staying logged in as they do not have a site cookie preference set.

Now, now different languages are being posted.
I don't know why this is happening - all these is just after adding the security patch.

I don't know how to bring back English as default language.

Control Panel » Languages

You can select your default language here and set what you want active.

Thanks.

I had that before and it still shows that it is only English and is the default. There are no other languages stated in that page.
That is why I was surprised that there was an Arabic posting yesterday and a French posting today.
I clicked on the update languages button again. Hopefully that helps.
This makes me nervous. laugh

There is no other languages there - just English on the Control Panel Languages.
How then can I get English only on the postings and no other languages?

There is no way for a bulletin board to force users to post in a particular language.
