Dunno if this is a bug, but its not right IMO

Ive just visited the Forum Feedback and Suggestions.
As on the main Index forum page i could see in read the
totals of unread topics and posts.

After making a post in the "Featured Members" Topic in there.
I could see in the "Feedback and Suggestions" Forum there
were at least 8 unread topics for me to read and catch up on.

Poll Your Top Feature = 61 (8)
And the list goes on.

If i return to the main forum index ( Main Page )

The Forum "Feedback and Sergesstions) does not show
that i have any unread topics or post.

Its giving me the impression there is no reason to visit
that forum as all is read.

The other forums on the Main page are showing totals,
but i haven't visited them yet.

This is in FF 2.X

So every forum i have entered removes the totals from the main forum index.
If ive not entered it then the totals are there to see.

I'm sure this was working in 7.3
as i remember it from your feature list topics.

It's always been that way, even in 7.3. Once you go into a forum, it currently assumes you're going to read everything new in that forum, and then when you go back to the main index it shows that forum as read.

I have a few ideas on possibly being able to extend the post tracking a bit more in an upcoming version.

Its giving the impression that it works with sub forums
as you will enter the forum but not the sub forums.

Hopefully you can find a work around
As i will just keep forgetting it works this way lol.

Don't know if this is related in any way but I noticed on the index page a yellow folder but no new post count numbers. Entering the forum in question showed 3 topics with new posts but again, no new post count numbers.

That's from me deleting a spammer and their replies. Looking at the time, probably about the same time you entered the forum
