#21774 - 06/08/02 08:19 PM PHP Include Path (Unix)

All of the files such as newuser.php have
require statements in them. In my attempts
to install ubbthreads I get a fatal error
because the requires fail. The error message
I get is:

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'main.inc.php' (include_path='/usr/share/php') in /home/two/htdocs/ubbthreads/newuser.php on line 22

I have actually gone and edited the php.ini file to include the ubbthreads path and verified that
it works by doing a php -i.

This is similar to other problems on this forum,
but I could not see an answer to my problem here.
I want to give ubbthreads a real trial because my
customers are asking for something different than webbbs.

Thanks,

Chuck

Restarting Apache fixed the problem.

try using the full path to your ubbt installation in your include file, it should resolve your problem <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Usually you won't need to edit that in Apache etc....

I think that only displays if you are missing the path or have the incorrect path specified in main.inc.php
