I try to clean out my forum a little bit and go to the control panel. There I select /admin/prunethreads.php and get the form to enter my vlues for selecting threads to prune.

Regardless what I enter I get always the ['BAD_FORM'] = "It appears that you have reached an update page without submitting any data."; response If I hit the submit button.

Thanks Zarzal. Have this fixed. If you'd like to test, you can edit templates/default/admin/prunethreads.tmpl. About line 12, you'll see this:

<input type="hidden" name="returntab" value="0" />

Right after that, add this:

<input type="hidden" name="valid_post" value="1" />
