I just purchased a new Dell Computer with a 22 inch monitor. For some reason when ever I enter my website I get the folowing screwed up looking screen. Other members have reported the same problem. I have a copy of the screen page but don't know how to post it up here to show everyone.

HELP????

Well you can add a reply and in the reply dialog is a link called file manager. Select it and follow the prompt to upload the file. Or if the image is saved on the internet use the enter a image button in the reply form and type in the url to the file. Or you can post it in the photo gallery and refernce that picture.

If you don't have any imaging software you can do the following:

1. Press the Print Screen button (above the number keys). This will save a copy of your screen shot to the clip board.
2. Open MS Paint. Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint.
3. Click 'Edit' and 'Paste'.
4. Click 'File' and 'Save As' then select JPEG from the drop down box.

Okay well if you have windows you have a program called paint in accessories.
Open the screen in question then press the prt scr button on your keyboard. Open paint program select edit>paste. Then save it where you want and what file type you want.
You beat me to it scriptkeeper

You think that's bad. Try using 'Stitch Assist' with a 50" plasma and 16 sheets of A4! eek

Okay we have had some fun. But Musky has problems.
I myself bought a DELL last year. It is a wide screen 20" I think it was the crystal sharp, and I have lots of distortion issues. In fact I have issues using my Mouse on the screen. Seems like the mouse will not align with the links ,buttons ETC. It seems that I need to move the mouse off of the selection just a bit to be able to select them. Dell has never responded to my problem but I am not willing to spend 2 hours on the phone with them again.

I would think it may be a driver issue in some way. Did they try to update or look for updates to the video driver perhaps?

Probably is a driver problem. But Dell said that I had the most current driver. I have had some success playing with the res settings. But I always end up going back to my original settings because I then don't like the way my desktop looks.

There may be a updated driver now but I have not checked in a about a year. But like I said in the last post calling dell with this problem takes forever because they take you through the hoops.
The only way I found out about the resolution was they logged on to my machine I noticed that the display was better and the mouse pointer worked correctly. Once the session was closed the screen reverted back to my settings and the problem was back. When I called them back about what I had found. It was over two hours on the phone with no success. They could not understand my problem. Or was it my language?

LOL@Or was it my language?

Yeah I get tons of tech guys that don't readily speak English on the phone all the time. I usually make them put on Tom who speaks English. After about the 3rd or 4th Tom I get someone who speaks English.

I used to work for a company that used call centers in INDIA. Here is how they approach it. The call rep has to have an engineering degree at least. Then they attend a 6 week class learning English slang and how to minimize their accent. Then they attend a 6 week class pertinent to what type of calls they get. At graduation they allow them to pick an American/English name to use to answer the phone.

That is a fact at least at the time 2004-2005. Because I was involved with reviewing those companies.

So they don't hire idiots. Most of them are very sharp. It is a language barrier usually.

Of course they don't pay them squat either. But it is a lot of money for them.

On no I don't disagree with having anyone make a few dollars and be able to afford to make a living no matter what country they are in but I am tone def and can't understand Americans very well and I'm an American my self. My problem is I read lips generally and can't understand 75% of what some one with a strong accent is saying over the phone, LOL.
