I guess I just have a problem with the feasibility of the gold plan.
1. If every licensed site upgraded to the Gold plan in one year that would be a bonanza year for UBB the first year.

2. Each successive year would mean reduced income for UBB.
Even if only a few users migrate each year it would still mean reduced gross sales per year.

3. So where does UBB get operating capital after the first year to survive? confused

4. I guess the business plan is we will always increase our customer base. But that day will end someday. So when you stagnate increased net new customers UBB will fail?

5. To me the Silver plan makes more sense on a business perspective. The Gold plan seams to be a temporary marketing ploy just to generate short term increased sales.

I think there will always be a balance of people who choose the annual license vs. the gold license, so UBB will do just fine.

I think there's something about human nature that when faced with a larger priced plan (for whatever it may be), many people will choose the cheaper one, even though it makes more sense in the long run to choose the lifetime plan.

I've had options to buy into certain clubs for life, but always choose the short-term cheaper route.

But with UBB, I went for it. Gold member here. smile

Why not go for a nice Uranium-235 'glow in the dark' card crazy

With a Half-life of 700 million years we'd be set for life - and then some sick

LOL - Well if you had a Gold American Express card about 20 years ago THAT was darn good credit, but now days my own kid has one and he doesn't make squat so you might need something more.

I know but it is still gold.
I have a platinum chevron card does that mean I need to join the silver club instead?
