I thought this issue went away with 7.4 - with that release moderators stopped being listed multiple times on the forum summary page. However, I just noticed that some of my moderators are still listed multiple times (20 times in one instance) at the bottom of the forum topic pages.

I ran into the same problem with 7.4.0 with a moderator that I changed into a Global Moderator, which I resolved by changing that person to a user and then back to Global Moderator again.

If you are having this problem only with Global Moderators, then you may wish to do what I did.

I tried that and it works as far as removing the multiples. I added one more step which brought the problem back though - In the past I had promoted some moderators to global moderators and left them listed as a moderator of their particular forum(s) - I guess that doesn't work. It seems that global moderators can't have their name listed for individual forums.

If that is by design then I guess it is not a bug.

It seems that Administrators can also be listed as moderators, therefore, why not Global Moderators?

Good question - so it must be a bug I would think.

Do you have any idea whether Global Mods receive all reported posts emails the way Admins do? To get rid all the duplicate moderators I have removed all my Global Mods from their previous forum assignments and just had the thought that they may no longer receive the emails when a member reports a spam post.

Hmm, going to have to look into this and see what's going on.
