Rick, I am interested in launching a blog, but am waiting because I believe I read that soon the forums will have some type of blog functionality. Is this true. If so, will it be the same as using wordpress or Google's blog format? Thanks.

Any chance of an edit page that would show which Custom Islands are activated in which forums (in a matrix or spreadsheet format) and then with a simple click, the ability to turn the island on or off? Maybe enter the island number into a cell.(?)
I'd like to rotate my islands (news, ads, volunteer requests, etc) more often but it's very labor intensive. I would think that this would be a good addition for club, and business Boards.
Cool, I'm looking forward to the new toys. Would be great to have a CI that will pull the latest blog posts with the option to show title only, title+ excerpt and title+ entire post. Maybe even a latest comment CI :thumbsup:
FEATURE: Added blaaskaak's modification that gives an option to rename an entire thread on the Manage Topic dropdown. Modified so if you have any permissions to manage a topic you will get the option.
Good feature. I just figured it out. You need to change the title of the first post in the thread then select "Rename this topic" under "Manage Topic". You will receive a message "The selection action has been completed."
This will be very, very useful. I can't think how many times I've had to change 20 or 30 titles.
